INSTRUCTOR: Ellen Denuto
TUITION: $80 members, $100 nonmembers
This workshop explores the forgotten spaces and places of the Dolphin and Barbour Mill complex now known as The Art Factory, located in Paterson’s Historic District. All levels welcome.

Retro Film Animation
WHEN: Saturday, June 7, 10 AM–4 PM
INSTRUCTOR: Miriam Jacobs
TUITION: $90 members, $110 nonmembers
This is an opportunity to learn about the very beginnings of animation. Participants will learn how to make a zoetrope and a flipbook. These devices can magically transform static lines and shapes into moving images. Basic drawing skills would be helpful but are not imperative. Dazzle your family and friends with these low-tech visual toys! Materials fee of $12 payable to the instructor.

Create Your Own Website Using Free Online Tools
WHEN: Sunday, June 1, 10 AM–4 PM

INSTRUCTOR: Liron Sissman, M.B.A.
TUITION: $110 members, $130 nonmembers
Would you like to present your work to the world? Perhaps even learn how to sell from your new website? In this six-hour, hands-on workshop, participants will create and publish their own website using free online tools. Participants will be guided through the use of free online templates and a free web-hosting service to create a professional looking website. There is no need to preregister your domain name. However, if you already own a domain name, this workshop will guide you through the application of templates to design and upload your site to your domain name and to easily maintain your site going forward. Please bring jpeg images (preferably at 72 dpi) of your work, an image of you, and files containing your resume, biography, and artist statement on a flash drive or CD.

Printing on Clay
WHEN: Sunday, June 8, 12–4 PM
INSTRUCTOR: Lisa Conrad
TUITION: $75 members, $95 nonmembers
This workshop will combine traditional printmaking techniques with ceramic tile making. Students will be taught how to transfer photographic or handdrawn images onto clay surfaces using a Xerox lithography method, how to make ceramic ink using mason stains and thickened linseed oil, and then how to transfer images using ink and gum arabic. Please bring high contrast images or black and white drawings with you to class (images void of graytones work best). All other supplies are provided.
