COME HAM IT UP ON THE HUNTERDON ART MUSEUM TERRACE THIS SUNDAY

HAM It Up!
our free outdoor arts celebration

WHEN: Sunday, May 4, beginning at 12:30 PM
WHERE: Hunterdon Art Museum terrace, 7 Lower Center St., Clinton
ADMISSION: Free

HAM It Up! lets everyone get in on the act by performing on stage with the award-winning Grumbling Gryphons Children’s Theater in The Ghost Net: An Environmental Musical of the Sea.

The afternoon’s family friendly festivities, sponsored by Flavorganics Ltd., include art and drama workshops, a stilt-walking juggler, and a parade following the performance.

The art workshop begins at 12:30 PM where children can create costumes and masks for the musical or participate in other fun art projects. Children don’t have to perform in the musical to make art. During this time, a stilt-walking juggler will entertain the crowd, performing various tricks. There will also be a Costume Photo Shoot, sponsored in part by Faith West Events and Bridgett Thompson Photography.

Youngsters interested in “hamming it up” on stage should participate in the drama workshop at 1:30 PM to learn their parts. No pre-registration is required, but space is limited.

The performance starts at 2:45 PM and is followed by a parade in which all attendees are invited to wear masks and participate.

We should have the terrace good and dry by Sunday—slightly ironic for a performance that features fish! Either way, this is a rain-or-shine event.
