Here's a sample of what's available:

For Kids

Introduction to Fashion: Design Your Own Collection (ages 9 to 15): Could your child be the next Donna Karan or Ralph Lauren? Kids will have a blast drawing fashion figures, measuring cloth, creating a pattern and an inspiration board. (Wednesdays, 6 to 7:30 PM, starting April 30)

Comic Book Creation (ages 7 to 15): Your child will be creating comics faster than a speeding bullet with this class that teaches basic cartooning techniques, and character and story development. (Fridays, 6:15 to 7:45 PM, starting May 2)

Open Studio: Art Work (ages 10 to 13): Want your kids to get a taste of a multitude of mediums and techniques to see what they like best? This class features a wide array of artistic options, exposing your child to pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor and acrylic paints. (Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6:45 PM, starting May 6)

For Adults

Introduction to Abstraction: Unravel the mysteries of abstract drawing and painting in this hands-on course that's fascinating and fun. Move from black-and-white drawings to an exploration of color, space and more! (Wednesdays, 1 to 3 PM, starting April 30)

Intermediate/Advanced Drawing and Painting: Take your drawing skills to the next level in this class that features still life, live portrait and nude models. (Fridays, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, starting May 2)

Music, Movement and the Modern Landscape: Let the music take control! Various pieces of music will be played in class to encourage self-expression, spontaneity, movement and what appears on the canvas. (Fridays, 1 to 3:30 PM, starting May 2)

Come on and 'HAM It Up!' May 4

Enjoy an afternoon of free entertainment with HAM It Up! a family-friendly event featuring the Grumbling Gryphons Traveling Children's Theater on our gorgeous new terrace Sunday, May 4. You can take part in the show or enjoy the fun from the audience, make art, join a parade and see the antics of a stilt-walking juggler.

The fun starts at 12:30 PM. with art making on the terrace. Kids can create costumes for the show or just make art. Later we'll have a drama workshop for anyone wishing to take part in the show. (Registration is not required, but space is limited.) The performance will be followed by a parade.

HAM It Up! is sponsored by Flavorganics Ltd. The Costume Photo Shoot is sponsored in part by Faith West Events and Bridgett Thompson Photography.

The event will coincide with the Clinton Guild's Pansy Festival and Art Walk making it a perfect day to explore everything Clinton has to offer!
