Rehearsals begin late May.
Preparation:
- Be prepared to read from the script.
- Sides will be provided.
- Bring sheet music of a song that shows off your voice and range in 16 bars . Standard Broadway theater music.
- Pianist provided.
- Be prepared to learn a dance combination.
- Wear appropriate dance clothes/shoes (character & taps)
- Bring a recent picture and resume or list of performance experience, if available.

Seeking:Strong, dynamic singers, who look 18-35, for all principal roles & chorus (no small children)
Breakdown: Seeking singers and dancers to portray characters in New York City during the Roaring Twenties.
Roles include:
- Millie Dillmount: Mezzo Soprano/Belt Young “modern” woman from Kansas
- Jimmy Smith: Tenor, Attractive young paperclip salesman
- Miss Dorothy Brown: Soprano, a new actress from California
- Mrs. Meers: Alto, evil owner of Hotel Priscilla
- Trevor Graydon III: Baritone, sincere Trust Insurance Company Head
- Muzzy van Hossmere: Mezzo/Alto, singer and bon vivant
- Ching Ho: Tenor, Chinese henchman in love w Miss Dorothy
- Bun Foo: Tenor, another Chinese henchman
- Miss Peg Flannery: Belter, curmudgeonly manager at Sincere Trust
- Gloria, Alice, Rita, Ruth, Ethel: Friends at Hotel Priscilla
- Ensemble of 1920’s "Moderns" and other supporting roles
