The Madison String Quartet will perform a program of highlights from string quartets, including Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Borodin, plus some Latin pieces by Marquez, Romero and Piazzolla.
The Madison String Quartet is comprised of professional musicians with international experience. Its members perform with the Westfield Symphony, Princeton Pro Musica, the Albany Symphony, the Plainfield Symphony, the Central Jersey Symphony, and include the Metropolitan Orchestra’s concertmaster Michael Avagliano.
Last year’s fundraiser recital included a performance by pianist Mark Yolleck. He played music by Chopin, Liszt, Bruce Taub and Kodaly, and a group of Mozart pieces.
