AUDITION NOTICE:
From the community theater company who recently brought you seven sold-out performances of Les Misérables this past summer, New Vision Players is holding auditions for their fun-filled Fall cabaret
CELEBRATE THE MAGIC: HEROES & VILLAINS!
This cabaret comes as a second installment to New Vision Players' first CELEBRATE THE MAGIC cabaret, and will again feature classic songs from everyone's favorite childhood films like Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Mulan and more!
Our theme this season is Heroes & Villains, and songs in the show will focus on this theme!
Director Mike Haber is certain to make this show fun, original, engaging and interesting for everyone both in the show and in the audience!
WHEN: Thursday, October 17th, 7 - 10 PM
WHERE: Grace Lutheran Church, 925 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, NJ
AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 16-years-old or older to audition
WHAT TO PREPARE:
- Two songs, one upbeat and one ballad, that best show off your vocals. Please cut it down to 16-32 bars each.
An accompanist will be present at the auditions, but you are welcome to perform your songs a cappella instead. - There will be no cold reading.
- There will be no dance call.
- ***THERE WILL BE NO CALLBACKS FOR THIS PRODUCTION;
PLEASE COME PREPARED TO SHOW US WHAT YOU'VE GOT AT AUDITIONS.
REHEARSALS (ONLY TWO BEFORE MOVE-IN):
- Thursday, October 31st, 7 - 10 PM at Grace Lutheran Church
- Thursday, November 7th, 7 - 10 PM at Grace Lutheran Church
MOVE-IN & DANCE REHEARSAL:
- Sunday, November 10th, 10 AM to 10 PM at Fair Lawn Community Center
RUN THROUGHS:
- Monday, November 11th, 6:30 - 10 PM
- Tuesday, November 12th, 6:30 - 10 PM
- Wednesday, November 13th, 6:30 - 10 PM
- * All Run-throughs take place at Fair Lawn Community Center in Fair Lawn, NJ
PERFORMANCES:
- Thursday, November 14th, at 7 PM
- Friday, November 15th, at 7 PM
- Saturday, November 16th, at 2 PM & 7 PM (Double Performance)
- Sunday, November 17th, at 2 PM
- ** All performances will take place at Fair Lawn Community Center in Fair Lawn, NJ
This is a very small time committment and guaranteed to be A LOT of fun!
You'll make a lot of friends, network with some great people,
and get a chance to perform some of your favorite songs!
