B’WAY MUSICAL DIRECTOR TEACHES PERFORMANCE INTENSIVE PROGRAM FOR KIDS 9-17

WHEN: July 10-28, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday; At 3:15 PM, students will be brought by bus from Bergen Pac to swim in the JCC outdoor Olympic pool until 4:30 PM

TUITION: $995 members, $1195 non-members.
Enrollment is limited to 16 performers.
An audition/interview is necessary.

Drama  Dance Camp Auditions 007- MatthewJoe Baker, Broadway Accompanist for Lion King, Shrek, Wicked, as well as Musical Director and Director of the Broadway Youth Ensemble, will be teaching an exciting Performance Intensive program for intermediate and advanced performers, ages 9-17.

The program will help aspiring young drama students develop professional level performing skills in singing, acting, sketch comedy and movement.

Students will attend skill development sessions two to three days each week, led by specialists from the professional Broadway Theater, where they will be coached in musical theater, cabaret performing, and choreography.

They will also attend a session on how to get ahead in the world of theater that will be led by a member of the cast of Mary Poppins, Les Miserables and Jekyll and Hyde.

The program will culminate in a show that will be performed in several venues, including a Sunday, July 28 performance at the JCC Eric Brown Theater.
