This 1960's French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent "layovers." Thanks to Bernard's keen study of flight schedules and the efficiency of his grumbling Gallic housekeeper Berthe, he manages to keep "one up, one down and one pending" until unexpected schedule changes and newer, faster jets bring all three to Paris and Bernard's apartment at the same time. Arriving at the same time is Bernard's boyhood friend Robert, who is as unworldly and naive as the day is long. BCP will be mounting the revised 2008 Broadway revival version of the play.
