DICKENS’ FABLE OF REDEMPTION COMES TO RVCC THIS FRIDAY

A Christmas CarolA CHRISTMAS CAROL
Nebraska Theatre Caravan

WHEN: Friday, November 30, at 7 PM
WHERE: Raritan Valley County College, 118 Lamington Road, Branchburg
TICKETS: $37 & $47

A Christmas Carol brings Dickens' fable of redemption to life. A full array of timeless English carols are interwoven within the classic story of tight-fisted Ebenezer Scrooge and all the beloved characters from Dickens' 1843 novel. The touching climax is based on Dickens' belief that the ills of a greedy world can be healed by brotherhood and unselfishness. The colorful scenery and elaborate costumes faithfully recreate the Victorian period. A spectacular holiday treat for the entire family.

“The obvious star of the show is Paul T. Kerr, who in his third tour with the company in this role, is the embodiment of Ebenezer Scrooge, in all of his miserly, bitter, and miserable glory. Kerr creates a larger-than-life Scrooge that is thoroughly entertaining to watch. His giddiness at the end of the tale contrasts so nicely with the Scrooge he creates in the first act, that you can't help but feel that old Scrooge has truly reformed his ways and become a kinder, gentler soul for good.”—Lisa Norris, BWW Columbus, OH, NOV. 24, 2012
