Gaskill received his MFA from Hunter College and has exhibitedextensively throughout New York area. He draws on elements of pop art, design, abstract painting, and popular imagery to make paintings that "invite the viewer to re-examine their relationship to contemporary color, design, art and imagery." About One River Gallery One River Gallery is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to presenting the most innovative exhibits just west of NYC. Our program focuses on emerging artists who are prepared to participate on the NYC art stage, while also presenting important projects from mid career artists who have already built a brand there. Our shows vary across all genres and our gallery’s two rooms gives us the flexibility to stage all types of work simultaneously. We utilize the resources of our innovative One River School to stay connected to artists and emerging trends and partner with leading NYC curators and galleries to help identify artists to present.
