This sequel to Ludlow & Broome, which premiered at the JCC a few years ago, is a dramatic musical comedy set in the Lower East Side.

The plot centers on Ethel Abramowitz and Myron Suss, who were high school sweethearts during the Great Depression. The couple reunites 50 years later, in 1995, decide to marry, and return to the Lower East Side to live on their street of dreams. But in less than a year of marriage, they detest each other.

Ludlow & Broome, named for two well-known streets on the Lower East Side, explores the full range of the human condition, and how our fears, strengths, dreams and vulnerabilities shape us as we progress from the blush of youth to old age.
