Set in the mountains of Connemara, County Galway, this darkly comic Irish tale of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman in her early forties, and Mag, her manipulative, aging mother, who interferes in Maureen's first and possibly final chance for a loving relationship, trigger events that lead relentlessly towards the play's terrifying resolution. This play won four Tony awards and the 1998 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play.
The production features Garaldine Baillod of Rockaway, Victoria Steele of West Caldwell, Matt Meier of Long Valley and Dale Monroe of Hackettstown. Assistant Director is Roxanna Wagner of Mendham.
