E. A. Hoffmann's fairy tale, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, first premiered in 1892 with music by Peter Tchaikovsky and choreographer Marius Petipa. New York Theatre Ballet's production, choreographed by Keith Michael, is the only hour-long Nutcracker, presented by a professional troupe, in the metro area. It is perfectly suited to the attention span of younger audience members, yet sophisticated enough for the most discerning adult.

The legendary Freddy Cole, with the distinctive "Cole" family voice, unwraps your favorite songs of the season in this unforgettable holiday show. Reminiscent of the programs his famed brother Nat King Cole performed on tour and on television, Freddy Cole recreates that warm, nostalgic spirit with "The Christmas Song," "White Christmas," and more classics.

Juilliard @ SOPAC Series: The Juilliard Jazz Ensemble returns to SOPAC to with a program guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit. Featuring Juilliard’s renowned Artist Diploma Ensemble, the sextet will perform pieces putting their own inventive spin on holiday classics and favorites with guest vocalist Vanessa Rubin.
