Among the various choreographed works Mr. Parsons has created are the Paul Taylor Dance Company, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Atlanta Ballet and National Ballet of Canada among others. In 1995, 1989 and 1988, David Parsons received Choreography Fellowship Grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. He has lectured at a manifold of locations, including Harvard University, The Yale Club and the Columbia University Business School.

Throughout dance history, Parsons Dance is also the only dance company to perform at all three Spoleto Festivals (Italy, Australia and the US) in a single season.
