“NO GOOD DEED” GETS STAGED READING @ HUDSON THEATRE WORKS THIS COMING MONDAY, NOV. 21

As the tenth anniversary of 9/11 approaches, a town attempts to commemorate a victim, while his wife and son still struggle.  The play looks at the hold the day still has on us—for better or for worse.

Playwright Eric CongerABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT
Eric Conger has acted at many of the country's regional theatres, including the Long Wharf,  McCarter,  Hartford  Stage,  Cleveland  Play House, and Alliance Theatre.  He has translated works of  Moliere and Brel, and his version of Feydeau's Chat En Poche, entitled  A Frog In His Throat, was produced at the York Theatre Company, starring Michael Learned.  The Eclectic Society was  produced on  the  mainstage of  the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia in January, 2010, directed by Ed Herendeen. Thank U 4 Your Service, was read in October 2010 at Ensemble Studio Theatre, where he is a member.

Mr. Conger is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the University of  Paris.

Hudson Theatre Works is committed to an ensemble collaboration as well as artistic risk through its work with its permanent company, guest artists, partner institutions and the surrounding community. It will be dedicated to a "rugged" aesthetic and will seek to tell stories, both new and old, classic and contemporary, which reflect our lives, relationships and world today.

Hudson Theatre Works primary focus is in bringing a living theatre community to the area of Hudson and North Jersey through performance, outreach and theatre arts instruction.
