FLASH! • PROGRAM REMINDER • TONIGHT | HUNGARIAN CELEBRATION | Jolán Gross-Bettelheim: An American Printmaker in an Age of Progress CURATOR-LED TOUR / 6:00 to 6:20 PM | This exhibition features rare prints by the Hungarian-American artist Jolán Gross-Bettelheim, a pioneering modernist woman printmaker. Gross-Bettelheim excelled in creating prints of industrial scenes, machinery, and technology. Tour the exhibition with Marilyn Symmes, the Zimmerli's Curator of Prints & Drawings and co-curator of the exhibition.
| Csűrdöngölő Folk Ensemble and Életfa MUSIC / 7:00 & 8:30 PM | The Csűrdöngölő Folk Ensemble is rooted in the New York/New Jersey Hungarian-American community and recognized as one of America's leading ethnic song and dance ensembles; Életfa (Tree of Life) engages audiences with stunning dance performances that represent the diversity of the Hungarian village cultures found in Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia. Performing together, the groups present two unforgettable 45 minute long performances.
