The Brook Arts Center continues its historic preservation of the theater, and the most recent project, a fully restored Marquee, is nearly complete. Travelling down Hamilton Street, passersby will soon see the brightly blinking lights and digital listing of upcoming events. A gala Marquee Lighting and benefit is being scheduled for the start of the 2011-2012 season.
The Somerset County Cultural Arts Center, Inc. (SCCAC) is a non-profit organization that oversees the programming for the Brook Arts Center and is committed to promoting and cultivating the arts in Somerset County. The Brook is a multi-use facility providing for live performances, art, music, and films that are entertaining, educational, and interesting to the diverse community.
