LUCKY ME, written by Sachi Parker and Frederick Stroppel, is a one-woman show performed by Ms. Parker about her long odyssey of self-discovery as she struggles to connect with her mother, Shirley MacLaine, the most celebrated singing, dancing, Academy-Award-winning, reincarnated spiritualist in this world (and the next).

The show will be performed as a staged-reading in preparation for a New York production in the fall. A Q&A with Ms. Parker will follow the performance.

"The feisty little What Exit? Theatre Company is certainly not lacking in bravery."—Bob Rendell, Talkin' Broadway
