For the past four decades, Earth Wind and Fire has been sharing their musical gift. They have spread their unique brand of soul, funk and R&B to a worldwide audience. Throughout their outstandingly successful run, the band has earned eight Grammy awards. Some of their great hits include After the Love Has Gone,” “Reasons,” “Fantasy,” “Serpentine Fire,” “Boogie Wonderland,” “Getaway” and “Shining Star."
The name “Earth Wind and Fire” reflected founder and leader Maurice White’s spiritual approach to music. It was a principle that incorporated composition, musicianship, production and performance. The band has been and remains stellar in performances. Earth Wind and Fire has released several multi-platinum albums with a string of memorable hits.
Though founder Maurice White is no longer part of the touring band, his influence is still lives on in the music. Earth Wind and Fire has left an everlasting stamp on the music industry. The innovative music produced brought a whole new sound to the music world.
