SUMMER PROGRAMS @ FARMSTEAD ARTS

SUMMER CAMPS
WHEN: July 11-15 and July 18-22 from 10:30-11:30 AM
WHERE: Farmstead Arts farmhouse at 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge

hildren entering grades K-2.
TUITION: The fee for each one-week session is $110.

Johnson will also offer a children’s craft at the Farmstead Arts booth at Bernards Township’s Charter Day celebration on Saturday, May 21.

ART FOR PAWS
Upcoming events include Art for Paws art exhibit and sale June 11- 25 featuring local arts who donate art for sale to benefit the Friends of Somerset Regional Animal Shelter and Farmstead Arts and FOSRAS at Farmstead Adoption Day on Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 12 to 3 PM.   Come meet some of the shelter’s wonderful pets available for adoption.

ART & MUSIC CLASSES

  • Watercolor classes taught by Basking Ridge artist Frank Pietrucha will begin the last week in April.  The six-session classes will be on Saturdays from 10 AM to 12 noon.
  • Colored pencil drawing lessons, taught by Susan Antin, will begin on April 27 and take place on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12 noon.  To register, visit www.farmsteadartclasses.eventbrite.com, or call 347.927.8748. 
  • Private music lessons by Maria Stefanovsky in piano, viola and violin for all ages will be offered on Tuesdays.  Register through Elefante Music at http://elefantemusic.com.
