2 SPECIAL PROGRAMS @ LUNA IN MAY

ANNOUNCING A SPECIAL OPEN MIC EVENT: MAY 1, 2011

Artistic Director Jane Mandel invites everyone who wishes to share some written thoughts and feelings on the 9/11 tragedy to an open mic event on May 1, 2011—immediately following the performance of The Tallest Building in the World. Because the play is about the building of the towers and does not directly address what happened to them and to the thousand of innocent people who died on 9/11, Luna Stage wants to offer an outlet for sharing memories and reflections ten years after the attacks. Please contact sahoua.luna@gmail.com for information on how to sign up for this special evening.

SNEAK PEEK!

Please check Luna’s website and this blog for details on a very special benefit:

Ed Asner, star of film, tv, and stage—most remembered as Lou Grant from The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Lou Grant—will be part of a reading of Nicky Glossman's play, The Professional, directed by James Glossman.

There are two scheduled reading nights: Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 at 8 PM. Ed Asner will be joined by Jay O. Sanders, Paul Murphy, Prentiss Benjamin and Anthony Blaha.

TICKETS for the reading are $40.00 each, and $50.00 for the reading and reception. More information to follow!
