SYNOPSIS: A fussy, middle-aged writer, Charles, invites a local medium to hold a séance at his house as research for his new book. The séance goes
terribly wrong when the medium conjures up the ghost of Charles’ first
wife Elvira who proceeds to wreak havoc. The twists and turns will
leave you laughing while being unsure whom to root for, the humans or
the ghosts…yes, there’s more than one.

CAST

  • Edith: (female, 25+) The maid, a former member of the British navy, very quick and very uptight. Cockney accent
  • Ruth: (female, late 30s) Charles’ second wife, a smart-looking, sophisticated woman, very proper and somewhat domineering
  • Charles: (male, 40ish) a writer and gentleman, he feels somewhat dominated by the women in his life
  • Dr. Bradman: (male, 50s) a pleasant-looking middle-aged man, country doctor
  • Mrs. Bradman: (female, late 40's-50s) fair and rather faded, devoted to her husband
  • Madame Arcati: (female, 50+) a striking, eccentric medium
  • Elvira: (female, early 30s) a charming, elegant, free-spirited woman, called back from the “other
    side”

NOTE: All characters, except Edith, should speak with an educated British accent.
