In this drama with dark comedy, three cemetery workers, searching for what they’ve lost, find each other instead. James McLindon’s play, Comes a Faery, was developed at the 2010 O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. Salvation will be produced at Hudson Stage Company, Giovanna Sardelli directing, this month. In the last two years, he has had 21 plays produced in theaters across America. His plays have been developed and/or produced at theaters such as the Abingdon, hotINK Festival, Irish Repertory, Samuel French Ten-Minute Play Festival, Emerging Artists Theatre, PlayPenn, Victory Gardens, Lyric Stage, Colony Theatre, Theatricum Botanicum, Circus Theatricals, Great Plains Theatre Conference, Telluride Playwrights Festival, and Arkansas Rep. His plays have been published by Dramatic Publishing and Level 4 Press and won numerous prizes. Audiences are invited to stay for a talk-back after the reading. |
