Water Your Mind: Nourish Your Brain
Dr. Mitchell Slutzky presents “Healthy Brains, Compassionate Selves.” Learn how to improve your memory, resist disease, ease chronic pain and reduce stress and burn-out by nourishing your brain. Thursday, July 29, at 7 PM.

Dr. Mitchell Slutzky, designer of the CHE Wellness Program, is a clinical psychologist who specializes in techniques that enhance brain neuroplasticity to promote improved cognitive, physical and emotional well- being. Dr. Slutsky's brain gym program has been featured on CBS Health Watch.

For Teens and ‘Tweens
Next Wave of Teen Lit: Author Coe Booth
Meet author Coe Booth and learn how she was inspired to write the critically-acclaimed novels Tyrell and Kendra. Each book chronicles the hardships faced by a teen growing up in the Bronx. A book signing follows the program. Books will be available for purchase at the Library. Wednesday, July 28, at 7 PM.

Perfectly Penguin
Get ready to be immersed in the Central Park Zoo’s aquatic Wild Life Theater. You’ll give your “seal” of approval as performers demonstrate what life is like for genguins and other arctic dwellers. Learn what you can do to help them survive in this free performance at the Library!

The Wild Life Theater inspires children to learn about and care for our natural world. The show incorporates literacy, math and science concepts in an amazing interactive show! Monday, July 26, at 4:30 PM.
