Henry A. Perkins, a mild- mannered CPA, accidentally picks up the wrong briefcase – one full of money. Henry assumes it is illicit cash and decides to keep it and run away to Barcelona with his wife, Jean. Jean doesn’t want to go and while he tries to change her mind, the criminal to whom the money belongs keeps calling on the phone and two police detectives arrive, each for a different reason. Add Henry and Jean’s closest friends and a taxi driver to the mix, and Henry’s inept attempts to extricate himself from this impossible situation lead to increasingly hysterical situations. Do he and Jean ever make it to Barcelona?   Performance Dates:   September 5th - 21st   Director: Linda Viel   Producer: Roberta Steve   The Director is seeking the following:   6 Males (Middle age to early 60's) 2 Females (late 40's to early 60's)   Character Gender/Age Range Description   Jen Perkins (Late 50’s) A pretty but ordinary woman who loves staying at home   Henry Perkins (Late 50’s early 60’s) An insignificant man who has found valuable briefcase   Bill (Middle -aged) London Taxi driver full of spirit   Detective Sergeant Davenport (Middle aged man) With a knowing glint in his eye- Very clever…   Betty Johnson (Late 40’s early 50’s) A buxom and cheerful woman- full of energy   Vic Johnson (Early 50’s) A brash man with feet of clay   Detective Sergeant Slater (Middle age) A solicitous and kindly soul- until provoked.
