The 3rd Annual New Jersey Watershed Conference is an educational event that aims to advance knowledge and communications on issues related to water quality and quantity across the state. Come learn more about the benefits of stormwater management, green infrastructure, harmful algal blooms, and other topics.
We welcome environmental professionals, nonprofit organizations, government officials, and interested members of the general public.

Cold and wet weather won’t stop us; we spend each day exploring outdoors, getting messy, playing, and creating. Before care (8-9 a.m.) and after care (4-5:30 p.m.) is available.

Narrated by producer and Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Leila Conners, this documentary focuses on cutting-edge research behind today’s climate science – and innovations aimed at reducing carbon in the atmosphere.
NATURE/NURTURE ART SHOW RECEPTION

Join us for the opening reception of the Nature/Nurture art show with artist Jamie Greenfield of Lawrenceville.
Her 16 paintings and works in mixed media reflect Nature, cosmology, and the interconnectedness of the mind and the natural world.
Greenfield's work will be on display through the end of the year in The Garden Club of Princeton Gallery at the Watershed.
TODDLER NATURE CLASS

Start instilling a love of nature in your child! We provide a fun introduction to animals, plants, and nature in general. You and your toddler will enjoy a song, a story, and a walk outside. Dress for the weather because we always go outside! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
OWL BANDING

Ages 8+
Learn about Northern Saw-whet Owls and what local researchers are doing to conserve these tiny predators.
Tyler Christensen, an ornithologist with the Wild Bird Research Group, has been conducting field research on the Watershed Reserve for several years. Tyler captures, measures, and bands the owls as he gathers information about their autumn migration.
These sessions are in partnership with the Wild Bird Research Group. Space is very limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult and all participants must be comfortable walking on uneven ground at night.
PRESCHOOL NATURE CLASS

Each month, readers will receive by email, a curated collection of poems and prose focused on a specific topic or author. Register for individual sessions or for all of the sessions.
