Beauty and the Beast
WHEN: Saturday, April 29th through Sunday, May 7th.

Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature and nominated for nine Tony Awards, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman (“Be Our Guest”, Beauty and the Beast”) , along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice (“Home”, “If I Can’t Love Her”, and “A Change in Me” being just a few).

This classic story of everlasting love tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town who doesn’t quite fit in, and the Beast, an arrogant young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will cease, and he will be transformed into his former self -- however, if time runs out, his castle and everyone inside will be doomed for all eternity. This "tale as old as time” offers a great opportunity to bring the entire community together for family theatre at its best.

West Side Story
WHEN: July 14th through July 23rd

From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story is one of the most memorable musicals and greatest love stories of all time. With a book and score widely regarded as one of the best ever written by Arthur Laurents, Stephen Sondheim, and Leonard Bernstein, and original concept and choreography by the world-renowned Jerome Robbins (who can forget the finger snapping of the street gangs).

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs. The "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice in a musical considered one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and continually relevant musical dramas of our time. Timeless songs such as “Tonight”, “Maria”, “America”, and “Somewhere” composed by Leonard Bernstein, together with the haunting and deeply moving story, make this a classic masterpiece. To this day, West Side Story is the undisputed Number 1 of American musical theatre: daring, realistic, and as relevant as it was on the day of its premiere. The production will play .

Into the Woods
WHEN: September 15th through September 24th

This Tony Award-winning show (with a musically sophisticated book and score by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim), transforms everyone's favorite cockeyed storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece.

Into the Woods is a rare modern classic which follows a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn they’ve been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they embark on a quest to break the spell. What begins as a lively fantasy becomes a dark comedy and moving lesson about community, responsibility, and the stories we tell our children. This production will run from.

WHEN: November 10th through November 19th

Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. Now one of the most performed shows in America, Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza about an elephant trying to save a small world. Seussical’s colorful characters transport us from the planet of Who, and the smallest of smalls, to the Jungle of Nool and the largest of all!

Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant in a show perfect for the whole family.
