The JCC Thurnauer School of Music, New Jersey’s leading community music school, is pleased to announce its 17th annual Sandra O. Gold Founder’s Day Concert.
Performers will feature a variety of the school’s student ensembles, including the Young People’s Chorus @ Thurnauer, a piano quintet, violin and guitar ensembles, and more, performing a wide range of repertoire.
“We love to share the magical experience of beautiful music with our community,” said Music School founding director Dorothy Kaplan Roffman. “It is especially inspiring to children to see their peers perform and witness the joy and sense of accomplishment they have in creating music. We are so grateful to the Berrie family and to Sandra Gold for initiating this free annual concert and for having the idea of an outstanding community music school at the JCC, which is open to everyone, regardless of age or experience.”
The concert is supported by the Sandra O. Gold Music School Founder’s Fund, established by Russ and Angelica Berrie.
