Buddy Holly is often cited as the single most influential creative force in early rock n’ roll who paved the way for the next generation of legends (including Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and The Beatles). This Broadway musical (which ran in London for 22 years) follows his meteoric rise to fame from his humble country music roots to the top of the charts and his untimely death in 1959, at age 22. The hits featured in this production include Peggy Sue, That’ll Be the Day, Raining in the Aisles, Not Fade Away, Maybe Baby, Ritchie Valens’ La Bamba and the Big Bopper’s Chantilly Lace.
