The Open House will give everyone a chance to see how a community theater works, ask questions, meet people, socialize, purchase season tickets, win a free ticket to a show and win prizes for participation in the events

Free and open to the public, this special event begins with a short business meeting, an introduction to the new 2013-2014 season, games and complimentary refreshments! .

We extend a special invitation to the people of Maplewood and surrounding communities to attend and see what The Strollers is about. We are an integral part of the community we serve, participating in town festivities such as Mayfest, Maplewoodstock, the Dickens Village, the Memorial Day Parade and the Halloween Parade—all activities that make Maplewood the unique family-oriented community that it is.

Founded in 1932, The Strollers has been enriching the arts offerings in northern New Jersey with comedy, drama, children’s theater, and musical productions for over 80 years.. As a community theater, The Strollers is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. All of its actors, technical crews, directors, producers, house crews, board-of-directors and various business committees are composed completely of volunteers, most with family and other full-time work obligations. This is the way it has been from the start and will continue to be. All monies earned or donated are put into Strollers upcoming production seasons.
