It's the night of the royal ball and Cinderella must get to the palace if she is ever to meet her one true love, Prince Charmfull. But when she calls for her Fairy Godmother, it turns out that some bad potato salad has given all the Fairy Godmothers food poisoning. Enter Lucretia Fossilwart, scented candle saleswoman and Substitute Fairy Godmother. This will not end well. (Or will it?)
CAST OF CHARACTERS
- Cinderella: (female, 16+) A sassy, young girl who is mistreated by her stepmother and step-siblings; determined to meet a prince to take her away from her miseries.
- Lucretia: (female, 35+) A flamboyant, quirky, and forgetful substitute fairy godmother/scented candle sales woman.
- Fabreeze: (female, 20-40) The evil step-mother.
- Fabio: (male, 14+) An evil, not too bright, and lazy step-brother.
- Alberta: (female, 16+) An evil, not too bright step-sister.
- Merwin: (male/female, 16+) The big bad wolf; a smashing old chap. Preferably able to do a British accent. (Will double up with the role of The Royal Messenger: Their majesties most royal messenger.)
- Boss: (male/female, 16+) Manager of the fairy godmother headquarters. (May possibly double up with the role of Pinocchio)
- Hortense: (male/female, 16+) The fairy dispatcher. (Will double up with the role of Noxima: flaky girl who believes she will marry the prince and have 10 babies.)
- Esperanto: (female, 14+) A fairy godmother. (Will double up with the role of Panteen: a girl who was forced to attend the ball by her parents, but is in love with the village podiatrist.)
- The Three Little Pigs: (3 males/ females, 10+) Maurice, Wembly and Wasabi are pigs with attitudes. They play poker and like eating chips and dip.
- King Vladimir: (male, 20-50) The King of the land; anxious for his son to finally grow up and find a wife. (May possibly double up with the role of Rumpelstiltskin)
- Queen Shania: (female, 20-40) The Queen; the true ruler of the land.
- Prince Charmfull: (male, 16+) A nerdy prince who enjoys playing with model trains and eating lama cheese.
- Rumpelstiltskin: (male/female, 10+) An old man, who likes to make people guess his name.
- Pinocchio: (male/female, 10+) A puppet who wishes he was a real boy.
Sides will be provided.
