Yale Art Tour and Dining Experience—A Cultural Adventure Exploring the New and the Old
WHEN: Wednesday, October 2, 8:45 AM-5:30 PM
WHERE: Bus leaves from Kaplen JCC, 411 E. Clinton Ave., Tenafly
COST: $85 JCC members/$100 non-members
The Kaplen JCC is featuring a day-long excursion to New Haven, Connecticut, where members and friends in the community can enjoy some of the best Yale has to offer. Attendees will tour the newly expanded and renovated Yale University Art Gallery, which is home to one of the most important art collections in America. The tour will be followed by a memorable lunch at Mory’s, Yale’s historic private club.
Price includes round trip luxury coach bus to Yale and back from the JCC, a guided tour of the museum, lunch and gratuities. Walking and stair climbing involved.

Trip to Barnes Foundation Philadelphia
WHEN: Wednesday, November 6, 8:30 AM-6 PM

Hailed as a “gallery within a garden and a garden within a gallery,” this legendary exhibit includes the world’s largest collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and early Modern paintings along with African sculpture, Pennsylvania Dutch decorative arts and other important works. A visit to the Barnes’s unparalleled art collection leaves a lasting impression.
Participants lunch on your own in the museum café or at a nearby restaurant (we’ll provide a list). Trip includes luxury tour bus to and from JCC, museum admission and audio tour, and gratuities. Considerable walking involved.

Tobi Kahn, featured in New York Magazine as best Art Gallery Tour guide, will inspire art lovers by bringing them to some of the most interesting art exhibits in Manhattan.
Group meets in New York and size is limited. Priority given to JCC members. Registration required.
Tobi may have to change a date depending on his schedule. Due to the popularity of these tours, there are no refunds or transfers.
