AUDITION NOTICE:

CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION
by Annie Baker
Directed by Kathy Hendrickson
Produced by Laurie Devino

WHEN: Wednesday, August 21, & Thursday, August 22, @ 7 PM
WHERE: Duncan Smith Theatre, 36 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel (located in front of Holmdel High School)

All Roles Are Open. Special Appearance Equity Contract Available.

When a small-town Vermont creative drama class experiments with seemingly harmless "theater games," hearts are quietly broken and small wars of epic proportions are fought and won. A beautifully crafted comedy in which we see, with hilarious detail and clarity, the antic sadness of a motley quintet.

Annie Baker’s Circle Mirror won the 2009 Obie Award for Best New American and was voted one of the top ten plays of 2009 by The New York Times, Time Out New York, and The New Yorker. It was recently named one of the best plays of 2009-2010 in the latest edition of The Best Plays Theater Yearbook.

Those auditioning need attend only one of the regular audition dates.

Monologues are welcome but not required.

Audition sides from the script will be provided.
