Camp Phoenix
A summer musical theatre day camp for kids & teens with a curriculum designed to help students develop "Triple Threat" skills in singing, acting and dance.

PROGRAMS for YOUNGSTERS (ages 7-13)
The original day camp offering for children who love to perform, our Triple Threat Youth Camps offer the complete Musical Theater Experience for children ages 7 through 13. Designed especially for the young performer who wants to learn and hone the skills needed to perform on stage, Camp Phoenix combines exposure and instruction on the technical aspects required to succeed in musical theatre endeavors while ensuring a fun and creative atmosphere that encourages each child’s interest in their craft. Each four-week session meets five times a week and covers audition techniques, monologues, improvisation, dance combinations, vocal training, and more. The sessions culminate in a performance showcase for family and friends on the last day of the session. Maximum enrollment:15 campers

PROGRAMS for TEENS (ages 13-17)
Designed for teens who want to learn and perfect the skills needed to become a Broadway Triple Threat! All programs include training in acting, voice and dance coupled with hands-on workshops to build confidence in various areas of musical theatre. All Teen Sessions include an hour lunch break (meals are not provided), and culminate in a performance showcase for family and friends held on the last day of the session. Maximum enrollment is 20 campers.
Triple Threat Teen Intensive
WHEN: July 8-12 M-F 9 AM-4 PM
TUITION: $415
New for 2013, this program is for the performer who is serious about musical theater and includes exciting workshops and intensive training in acting, voice, and dance. Teens will meet successful working artists, participate in performance-based workshops, and have an inside look at the Phoenix production of The Music Man—including attending our July 13th performance at the Count Basie Theatre. The week-long format allows teens to deeply delve into the camp experience leaving the rest of the summer free to pursue other interests.
Triple Threat Teen Summer Experience
WHEN: July 17-Aug 21st Wednesdays 9 AM-4 PM
TUITION: $480+ $15 materials fee
The program includes exciting workshops and intensive training in acting, voice, and dance. Teens will also meet successful working artists, participate in hands-on workshops, and have an inside look at the Phoenix production of The Music Man on Friday, July 19th at the Count Basie Theatre. This original format allows teens to grow their love of musical theater while leaving time throughout the week to pursue other summer interests.
Triple Threat Teen Overview
WHEN: August 26-30 M-F 9 AM-4 PM
TUITION: $415
For the performer who is also interested in what goes on behind the scenes. New for 2013, this session couples performing with behind-the-scenes workshops in areas such as set design, scenic artistry, costume design, and stage management. Teens will have an inside look at the Phoenix production of Damn Yankee—including attending our September 20th performance at the Count Basie Theatre. This week-long format allows teens to deeply delve into this experience, leaving the rest of the summer free to pursue other interests
