Come see Dreamcatcher Rep perform a cabaret of selections from Broadway musicals such as "Spamalot," "City of Angels" and "Into the Woods." Performing are Dreamcatcher ensemble members Clark Carmichael, Laura Ekstrand, Dave Maulbeck and Scott McGowan, and special guest Vanessa Parvin, accompanied on the piano by the delightful Roberta Smith.
"An Evening of Summit Theatre" is a showcase of Summit's three resident theatres, all of whom will combine their talents for one night only at the Summit Playhouse on June 28. The evening will feature three acts, with each theatre taking a turn to showcase a variety of performances that represent the range of artistic experiences that audiences can enjoy throughout the year in Summit
Featured with Dreamcatcher:
- Pebble Players Youth Theater will be performing a cabaret of new Broadway favorites including songs from "Newsies," "Bring It On" and Green Day's "American Idiot." Pebble Players is the youth division of Stony Hill Players in residence alongside Dreamcatcher at Oakes Center.
- Summit Playhouse will showcase both youth and adult performers with an excerpt from Kaleidoscope Theatre's production of "Shrek: The Musical" and the Playhouse's recent production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee."
