The one "Singular Sensation" and winner of nine Tony® Awards including Best Musical, makes its Barn Theatre debut as the finale to the Barn's 85th Anniversary season!
Set during a chorus audition for a Broadway show, A CHORUS LINE tells of the achingly poignant ambitions, hopes, fears, and dreams of seventeen professional dance gypsies competing to land a job in the show.
This compelling fusion of dance, song and drama stands as a powerful metaphor for all human aspiration and a tribute to those courageous enough to put it all on the line. It is a celebration of those unsung heroes of the American Musical Theatre —the chorus dancers: those valiant, over-dedicated, underpaid, highly trained performers who back up the star or stars and often make them look even more talented than they are.
Memorable musical numbers include What I Did for Love, One (Singular Sensation), I Can Do That, At the Ballet, Dance: Ten; Looks: Three, and I Hope I Get It.
The Barn Theatre's cast of A CHORUS LINE includes Randy Accardi, Allie Acquafredda, Brandon Arias, Andy Calderone, Corey Chichizola, Darius Delk, Michal Efron, Jeffrey Fiorello, Chris Frazier, Hawkins Gardow, Ashley Greiner, Raymond Guy, Kimberly Jackson, Christine Kadets, Samantha Kaplan, James Lopez, Michael Miguel, Becky Nitka, Larissa Reynolds, Jo Rosa Rio, Amy Shera, Kelly Anne Shera, Samuel St. Juste, Kim Urba, Chelsea Varga, and Chelsea Wright.
