speidel headshotWomen’s Theater Company proudly presents Susan Speidel in Strictly On My Own Tonight, a collection of jazz, blues and swing songs that takes a humorous look at the challenges of being a single woman of “indeterminate” age! Musical direction and arrangements are by Peter Candela, who has played on Broadway in The Lion King since 1998.

Parsippany Playhouse can now be added to the list of venues from across the country where Susan Speidel has graced the stage with her impeccable voice. She has performed to sold out audiences in renowned New York City cabaret rooms such as the Duplex, Broadway Baby Bistro and Judy's in Chelsea, among other venues. Susan Speidel has appeared with the Seattle and Portland Symphonies, and she is a frequent guest soloist with the Key West Symphonic Pops. An off-broadway and regional theatre veteran, Susan has performed at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Surflight Theater, The Forum Theater and Plays-In-the Park.

Rounding out the twentieth anniversary season at the Women’s Theater Company is the upcoming show A Grand Night For Singing, running May 17-June 2, directed by Lauren Moran Mills, music direction led by Warren Helms, and produced by the company’s executive director Barbara Krajkowski.
