RE-SCHEDULED THEATER FESTIVAL TO FEATURE ORIGINAL SHORT PLAYS

South Street Players—in residence at Wesley Hall in Spring Lake, NJ—has rescheduled its 2nd Annual Tri-State Theatre Festival.

This festival of original one-act plays (by playwrights from NJ, NY and PA) was supposed to take place last November, but had to be postponed due to Superstorm Sandy.

SSP will present several original one-act plays written by local writers from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. An organic and fresh mix of fifteen-minute comedies and dramas, this festival is sure to entertain and delight audiences.

In addition to its artistic goals, the event will also serve as a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to South Street Players to help the theatre group maintain its commitment to producing high-quality, extremely entertaining theatrical experiences for the 2012-13 season…and beyond.
