Learn to create birds and various other animals with an array of textures and mediums. The animals displayed in the museum will be our inspiration as we learn how to bring these creatures ‘to life!’

Have fun exploring and experimenting with a variety of visual art techniques and mediums through engaging projects and hands-on activities. If you were in a previous Art Experiences class, come see what new adventures Nina has in store for you. Mediums will involve pastel, watercolor painting, drawing and collage. Always new projects
Whimsical Watercolors

Enjoy investigating the range of possibilities that watercolor offers! Learn the basics of watercolor, as well as fun techniques such as wax resist, wet into wet, salt texture and more. Create portraits, landscapes, and abstract art. Students will not only learn how to create various effects and unique imagery, but will gain the control over the medium to further advance in their watercolor painting skills.
The Great Artists

Create art inspired by the works of the great artists!
We will look at a sampling of the world’s master artists, examine their unique styles and learn about their lives and times. We will use watercolor, acrylic, pastel, collage and mixed media to create our own masterpieces in the styles of these masters.
