About the Play
Bill, a fifty-year old adoptee from Kansas, drives to Connecticut to search for his parents. What he finds will surprise you as much as him. A funny and poignant look at the plight of grown children lost in the closed system.

ERIC CONGER's The Eclectic Society was produced on the mainstage of the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia in January, 2010. He has translated works of Moliere and Brel, and his version of Feydeau's Chat En Poche, entitled A Frog In His Throat, was produced at the York Theatre Company, starring Michael Learned. His No Good Deed was read in October 2011 here at HTW. Mr. Conger is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the University of Paris. Member: A.E.A., S.A.G., and AFTRA.
