STAGED READING & INTERACTIVE PREMIERE MARK PREMIERE STAGES FINAL OFFERINGS OF THE 2012 SEASON

 

 

 

The 2012 season closes with Talking to Westfield—the interactive world premiere of the first script commissioned through Premiere's new Liberty Live partnership with the Liberty Hall Museum. To send off the season in style, they will also host their annual benefit on Saturday, November 3rd, in conjunction with the evening performance of Talking to Westfield. A night not to be missed!

 

iDream Staged Reading

Premiere Stages will develop and present three FREE staged readings of Eileen Trauth and Suzanne Trauth's iDream as part of a week-long workshop funded by that National Science Foundation.

WHEN: OCTOBER 11-13; Thursday, October 11, at 6 PM; Friday, October 12, at 10 AM; Saturday, October 13, at 7 PM

Little Theatre in the Kean University Center, 1000 Morris Ave., Union
ADMISSION: Free
Three high school girls, all confronting an uncertain future, are encouraged by a dynamic teacher to explore the male dominated field of computer technology and in doing so, begin to discover their place in the world.

All readings are followed by discussions with the cast and playwrights!

launches Premiere Stages NEW Liberty Live Initiative

Does the key to Trevor's future lie somewhere in Westfield's past? During a visit to the Westfield Museum with his Dad, history begins to come to life—and Trevor has to figure out how to find his way home. This exciting new event that celebrates the history of New Jersey also features a guided tour of the Museum grounds and interactive displays.

Presented in conjunction with Talking to Westfield, the annual benefit will take place on Saturday, November 3, at 5:30 PM. The evening will feature:

  • A pre-show reception featuring music, wine and hors d’oeuvres
  • A performance of Talking to Westfield
  • A candlelight tour of The Liberty Hall Museum
  • A post show champagne and dessert reception
  • A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit the Westfield Historical Society.
