Explore Your Creative Side at The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades
Come discover new talents, connect with new hobbies and explore the exciting world of crafts and culture with others who enjoy the creative arts.
The Adult Department at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is offering a diverse roster of classes for its fall programming that begins in October.
People interested in the arts can learn to paint with professional artists in a wide range of mediums; create beautiful ceramic pottery with a talented instructor in the JCC’s new on-site studio; knit one-of-a-kind garments and heirlooms with a certified instructor from the Art & Craft Council of America; and learn innovative sewing techniques from an award-winning instructor who taught hundreds of students in her Los Angeles studio and is now sharing her talent with us. There’s nothing more rewarding than the joy that comes from creating things of beauty with your own hands. The following classes are now open for enrollment:
SEWING CLASSES

PAINTING CLASSES
- 9 Tuesdays – 10/16 – 12/11 12:30 – 3 PM
- 4 Tuesdays – 1/8 – 1/29 12:30 – 3 PM
