Annual Chamber Music Celebration
Recording artist pianist Beatrice Long with members of the New Jersey Symphony play Schubert

Beatrice LongPianist Beatrice Long, Naxos and Dorian recording artist, will play Franz Schubert's magical masterpiece The Trout Quintet at the BONJ Chamber Music Celebration.

Performing with Ms. Long will be violinist Judy Lin Wu, violist Kathleen Foster, cellist Stephen Fang and bassist Joseph Campana, all members of the New Jersey Symphony.

Performs music of Corelli, Haydn, Kleinknecht and Groneman

Arioso Consorte—Margaret Walker, Laura Ferraro, Liz Cabrera, and Andrew Pecota—return  to perform 18th century music on period instruments in period style in period dress!   

They will perform works by popular composers Archangelo Corelli and Franz Josef Haydn and will introduce New Jersey audiences to the wonderfully charming music of rarely heard Baroque composers Jacob Friedrich Kleinknecht and Albertus Groneman.  Arioso Consorte musicians are members of The Baroque Orchesta of New Jersey.

Also performing on June 9 will be violinists Aimee Briant and Jennifer Schuchman with pianist Robert Dowling performing Suite in G minor by Moritz Moszkowski.   Aimee and Jennifer perform with The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey.

Paul Ziegler Returns With Jazzy Rhapsody

Paul Ziegler returns in concert with The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey for a not-to-be-missed performance of George Gershwin's jazzy masterpiece Rhapsody in Blue.

Zeigler, internationally renowned pianist and local Madison artist, brings his pianistic and interpretive brilliance to all his performances with BONJ—including the complete Beethoven concerto cycle and memorable performances of concerti of Chopin and Brahms. He adds his own zest and panache to the snappy rhythms and jazzy harmonies of America's greatest composer, bringing the classic work to life with the musicians of the orchestra under the baton of Maestro Robert W. Butts.
