There is ART to getting in shape!  This Zumbathon fundraiser will feature two 45-minute high energy ZUMBA classes.

Zumba® Fitness is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health.

According to NJSDA co-director Beth Baur, “The Zumbathon is a perfect fit for our school because it is so important for actors, singers and dancers to be in shape and in top form. We are thrilled to give the community an opportunity to share the fun of getting in shape and at the same time support the programs that mean so much to so many people”.

Certified Zumba instructors Lynn Langone (Cranford) and Laura Hartin, (Montclair) are both passionate about the programs at NJSDA. Laura Hartin graduated from the Six Level Acting Program and is now a member of NJSDA’s premier improv comedy troupe Nutty By Nature. Laura Hartin said, “NJSDA is like my family. I am so happy to be able to support the school by teaching the Zumba class as part of this fundraiser. I lost 50 pounds doing Zumba and love it!” Lynn Langone, a movement teacher at the studio and a professional Zumba instructor said, “Come on and shake your bootie for this great organization. We will have a blast! It is so much fun.”
