It’s 1934 and the Cleveland Grand Opera Company is primed to welcome the world famous Tito Morelli, “Il Stupendo,” the greatest tenor of his generation, to appear for one night only! When the star passes out before the performance, Saunders, the general manager, persuades his assistant Max to get into costume and fool the audience into thinking he’s Il Stupendo. Everything goes as planned until Morelli comes to and gets ready to perform. With two tenors now running around, a chain-reaction of mistaken identity, plot twists, double entendres and chaos ensue—but hilarity takes center stage!

Lend Me A Tenor features Helen Boyadjian (Saddle River), Carla Kendall (Wayne), James Lopez (Lake Hiawatha), Jonathan Peck (Hoboken), Gloria Quinn (Wayne), Jonathan Rudolph (Parsippany), Lionel Ruland (Parsippany), and Leyda Torres (Belleville).

Presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
