This one-act play is based on interviews conducted by the playwright with numerous women in war ravaged Yugoslavia during the 1990s.  The story focuses on two American women, an established psychiatrist and an ambitious young writer, who travel to Bosnia to help women refugees confront their memories of war.  Though the two have little in common beyond the methods they use to distance themselves from their subjects, they emerge deeply changed as they confront their own fears in the face of violence, resiliency and war.

The series is an opportunity for directors to present lesser known or smaller works that might not be suited to a full-scale production. The emphasis is on the play and the acting, not costumes, props or special effects. The shows are presented with the audience on the stage, right in the middle of the action, allowing a ringside view as the story unfolds around them.

The cast stars Colleen Cohan-Johnson as J.S. and Jaime Mazza as Melissa and features Christina Cruz, Suzanne Lawrence, Joy Salerno, Colleen Smith and Carolyn Vicari
