Looking for a laugh to help kick-off the New Year properly? Look no further than The Newton Theatre! The third installment of the Big Apple Comedy Club, featuring NYC comedians, will invade Newton.

The January comedy show features Brad Zimmerman, who has the distinction of opening for both George Carlin and Joan Rivers; Cory Kahaney, who appeared on the first season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and has been featured on the Late Show with David Letterman and The Joy Behar Show; Buddy Fitzpatrick, a regular on Comedy Central with appearances on ABC and A&E; and Sherry Davey, the official Mom on NBC’s iVillage website Momtourage.com and who has been seen regularly on shows The Funniest Mom in America and Premium Blend.

The Newton Theatre was founded in 1924 and has been a staple in the town ever since. The mission is to return the theatre to its original splendor and serve as Sussex County’s largest full-time Performing Arts Center.
