LECTURE SHEDS LIGHT ON DEVELOPMENTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Gil%20LainerGil Lainer, Consul for Public Diplomacy at the Consulate General of Israel in
New York (left), will lead an enlightening and provocative discussion on recent developments in Israel and how the State of Israel must respond.

Topics will include Arab regime changes, the Israeli housing crisis, the US administration’s push for peace, the PA’s bid for nationhood and more. This is the last presentation in a series of discussions with advocacy leaders, rabbis and university scholars that has been by the JCC’s Scholar-in-Residence, Rabbi Kimelman.

This session has been made possible in part by the Berit and Martin Bernstein Open Forum Endowment Fund and the Edwin Sorforenko Foundation and was co-sponsored with the JCC Israel Connections Department and Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s Center for Israel Engagement and its Jewish Community Relations Council.
