Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional theatre in residence at The Baird in South Orange, NJ, is holding Equity principal auditions for BLOOD: A COMEDY. This outrageous comedy unravels a mess of blood connections, from the inconvenient to the intolerable.

WHERE: The Baird, 5 Mead Street, South Orange (a few blocks from the center of downtown South Orange)

Appointments are not necessary.
- Prepare a brief contemporary comedic monologue, preferably no more than three minutes in length.
- Bring a head shot and resume stapled together.
CAST:
- Franny: Any ethnicity, mid-20s to mid-30s. Jacqueline’s daughter; struggling to create a normal life out of the chaos of her childhood home.
- Alec: Any ethnicity, 30s. Jacqueline’s son; always in the middle of a shady business enterprise.
- Matthew: Any ethnicity, mid-20s to mid-30s. Franny’s fiancĂ©; a new convert to an obscure religious sect.
- Noah: Any ethnicity, 60s. Matthew’s father; had a long-ago relationship with Jacqueline.
- Jacqueline: Any ethnicity, 60s. This role is cast.
Time Commitment:
- Rehearsals: February 13 – March 8, Mon-Thu nights; Sat-Sun days
- Performances: March 9 – 25, Fri-Sat-Sun only
