A Christmas Carol Playhouse 22 2011Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol returns to Playhouse 22 for its fifteen anniversary production. First staged at the theater’s old home, A Christmas Carol is the immortal story  of a miserable miser who learns to keep Christmas in his heart with the help of several ghostly spirits.

Joining the cast for the first time is Fred Dennehy (right) of Cranbury as the irascible Ebeneezer Scrooge. Playing the Ghost of Jacob Marley is Rory Chalcraft (left) of South River, along with Jacqueline Master of North Brunswick as the Spirit of Christmas Past, Chris Nowland as the Spirit of Christmas Present and Matthew Cox of South River as Tiny Tim.

“Charles Dickens’ classic comes to alive with a full cast of characters from the eerie ghost of Jacob Marley to the innocent, but determined Tiny Tim,” explained director Adase.  “There’s nothing more exciting than seeing this show coming alive for the holidays!”
